In 2021, we established a native tree nursery at Corrary to meet our planting demands for creating new woodland around the farm. As the nursery stock expanded, we also began to develop a commercial arm to the nursery.

We collect all our seed from the Glenelg area, meaning we can provide local provenance trees to most forestry grant schemes within the West Highlands.

We are fully registered under the Forestry Reproductive Materials regulations (Forestry Commission) and the Plant Passport scheme (Scottish Government).

As a supplier of trees to the Woodland Trust, we are also assured under their UK & Ireland Sourced and Grown (UKISG) scheme.

Tree Nursery

We grow over 100,000 trees a year and provide a wide variety of species as cell-grown or bare root stock.

During the growing season from April to October, we take on volunteers to help with the running of the tree nursery, with accommodation and food provided.

Check out our WWOOF profile for more information.
